A term used to describe wines in which the aroma has yet to develop fully but that have enough to indicate the possibility of further bouquet development.

This is a hard, dark, fine-grained, plate-like rock. Slate was formed under pressure from other sedimentary material (clay, shale, siltstone, etc.). It is prized for its ability to warm quickly and retains heat.
