What would you suggest to go with green peppers stuffed with ground beef, rice, and onion filling, in stewed tomatoes?

Cabernet Franc. Perhaps a Chinon (Loire), or a C. Franc from Northern Italy (Friuli Venezia Giulia).

I don't have a CF in the cellar, so I'd choose a Syrah, probably Cline.

I just thought that Bucko's special answer deserved a special thank you, that's all. Couldn't find a CF or any Cline Cellars in the place I shopped yesterday so I bought the Sutter Syrah. IK had said that the Sutter reds are a little less dry for us novice wine drinkers. I did like it very much. I'll look for the others when I go to a better shop.
