Brite Ruby with loads of up-front fuit on the nose. Lots of "Berries", zin, straw blue and rasp on the nose and all come across on the palate. A nice mellow drink that hides its 14.9% alc. Gonna try the old vines today. Nice bottle. 87/90 15 on sale. WW

I was waiting for a report on the 03. I will grab a couple while at the shop today.

I wouldn't break a leg trying to get the '03 Sonoma. As we posted last month, it's not the equal of the '02.

Indeed. Half way through and it's OK. Very refined for a zin, but I don't want refined when it comes to zin. Clean and would be a great value at about $9 less.

Had one with pizza tonight. 's OK. Will keep a couple on hand, but no case buys are called for IMHO.

Or you could pick up a couple of bottles of Bogle Old Vines California, and save a few dollars. Better wine IMHO.
