2004 Dehlinger Goldridge & 01 SCM Estate

A business associate from Portland was in town yesterday so it was lunch at the club. He's a wine-drinker so I took these 2 pinots which I knew he wasn't too familiar. Both showed their respective breeding as the Dehlinger was brite, lively and immediately impressive and the SCMV, even tho I'd opened it 4 hours earlier was still closed and withdrawn. Finallt after an hopur in the glass the aromatics started appearing in the 01. Both have a brite future but the Santa Cruz needs another 8-10 to really stretch its legs. WW
