Took this to Convivo last nite with some close friends who are into the wine scene up to their pantaloons. Restrained on first pour. Nose Bordeaux like...More Margaux than Latour. Lots of red fruit, cigar box, cassis, and flowery nuances. As the nite progressed started putting on some weight and fleshed-out beautifully. Still has 3-5 to resolve some silky tannins in the background. Always one of Napas' best, this is no exception. Another successful bottling. 93/90. 100 on futures.WW

ww, have you noticved if it takes a little longer for the 1.5 liters to mature over the 750ml?

Absolutely. I normally get 4 375s', a box of 750s' and 3 mags of my fav juice. The reason I took the mag instead of 2 750s was my )*&$@@%*&**^cellar is so bloomin full I couldn't get to the 750s. I'd tried a 375 nite 'afore last and it SANG.( LikeSarah ).
This is a killer bottle that makes all the cares fade, like wrinkles sprayed wif Botox. WW
