2003 La Curio "The Nubile" Grenache/Shiraz

Blend is 75% Grenache and 25% Shiraz.

Didn't decant. Color was a dark ruby with purple flashes. Nose of dark fruits and spices, but it was more red fruits than dark on the palate. Spiciness and cinnamon on the finish, which was clean. Some tannins give it some depth and weight, but this wasn't a real complicated wine. Would be good with BBQ, though, or maybe a sausage and peppers dish. Alc. was 15%, but it wasn't hot. Only paid $8, but there were only about 150 cases made, so I dont think it's very widely available. FWIW, got an 89 from RP.
