Ruby color, powerful cherry nose, ripe black cherry w mint and earth notes, somewhat tannic and not particularly long on the finish. This is a solid Burgundy with good flavor intensity. It doesn't have the complexity of some of the more prestigious villages, but for $25 it delivers the goods.

Welcome to the Board jojogrape. I drink my pinots (and most other red wines as well) straight from the cellar this time of year. My cellar temperature is currently in the low sixties so I guess the answer to your question is slightly cooler than room temperature. This, of course, depends on where you live and how cool your home is.

Serving temperature is to some extent a matter of taste. I think you will find, however, that if you serve red wines cold, they start tasting acidic (tart) and lose their flavors. If your home is warm (70s or 80s) you'll find red wines served at room temperature to taste alcoholic and tannic and not to have the clarity of flavor they might otherwise have.
