Sonoma Coast.

Decanted for 20 minutes before 1st pour and through evening, but this didn't last long. Bright, clear ruby in color, with a nose of cherry, red spices, and a floral element (roses? I'm bad with flowers). Sweet cherry fruit on the entry, mixing with red plum flavors and spices on the finish, which is long and lingering. Beautiful texture, and you really want to roll it around on your tongue. Simply great juice. Went so fast that I wish I had paid better attention. Anne loved it, too, as did our evening guests. One of the better PNs we've had this year. I'm really looking forward to the Kosta Browne 03s now. Alc. 14.7% and well integrated. Anne bought it at Vintage Wines in San Diego for $48.

Dananne, you may want to consider getting on the Kosta Browne mailing list if they can ship to Georgia. I passed up the allocation this last time because of getting ready to move and also a cash flow problem but hope to order in the future.

They finally got GA distribution, so now I'm seeing it around town in various shops. The problem is that they fly off the shelves so fast that you have to grab it when you see it. The '03s came and went quickly here (in part due to the reviews in WS and elsewhere), but there is supposedly going to be enough of the '04 to go around. I've got my wine shop folks pulling bottles for me in future.

Anne mentioned you when we were drinking this, and she said she thought you'd like it. The next time we're able to get together, I'll bring a bottle

Good luck with the move. I hope everything goes smoothly. Make sure you pop something special when it's done!

I take it back -- they are NOT distributing in GA this year. I'm not sure why. So, off to join the mailing list . . .
