Since Jeff sold the Jarvis vineyard this is one of the 1st vineyards he went to for the samw quality fruit from the Mountain. Only 1 mile from the original vineyard,(it was originally part of the Jarvis planted in 1863) the fruit has lots of the complexity and fruit intensity that I've come to expect from the Jarvis bur thios hummer has more approachibility on release. Lots of aromatics, both floral and red berries with the normal mix of sweet spice and funkiness that gives the edge. Lots going on with this sucker and there's definately the structure to age for 8-10. A great young baby that will reward both the im&the patient. 92/95 26 on wine club. WW

Had one of these last night with a salmon salad. Very, very nice.

Forgot to post on this this morn. Definately a keeper. Has the balance and soft tannins to carry this as long as you can keep your grubbies off'n hit. A super bottle of juice. Think I'll see if Jeff has another box. WW

Opened another for lunch today. Nose is definately filling out and has added a nice spicy, earthy note that makes the fruits more cvomplex. I really like this vineyard and what Jeff does with it. Still has enough tannins to carry it another 4-6 easily and should hold for another 10-15. Solid stuff. No change in scoring yet but dag-burn close. WW
