2005 Varner Pinot Noir Santa Cruz Mountains Hidden Block

This was the second of two wines my friend poured for me blind.

I got pretty close in my guesses. Wine was vey transluscent in colour, almost like a darker roses, Nose was pour and focused, strawberries, almost a bit coolaid at the beginning but quickly calmned down to being an almostvillage level burgund from lesser areas, Good focus and purity, Nicely done.
