Don't put this sucker near the door as it'll kick it oppen and yell to passers-by top come in and join in the fun. Deeply extracted Russian River Valley fruit. No indication where he purchased the fruit, this is a 1st class RRV bottling. Lots of aromatics with all the rite stuff hitting the schnozz, foprest floor, barnyard, and of course lots of brite cherry, stromberry,
and a whiff of blueberry. Silky entry, nice medium-weight center and a suprisingly long finish.Had this for lunch after the exam so
probably would score it too high if I gave it a number. Not a bargain at 45 by the box, but was highly reccommended by a friend with an excellent palate. Will look for the 2001.(This mite be the reason I couldn't finish the Paoletti at Din-Din)ww Make that Emilys' Cuvee.Ole' fat-fingers strikes agin'.

Must be berries grown by Strom Thurmond. Wonder if WW's recommendation came from the person who posts occasionally as Jock. I think he's from Phoenix and he also recommended this to me if since I liked the Siduri Pisoni Pinot Noir. Haven't had the opportunity to try Emily's Cuvee yet however.

WW, are you going to break your rule about crossing the Mississippi and attend the Finger Lakes offline? I have a neat French burgundy I'd like him to try if he gets there.

Opened the last bottle from my box last nite. Massively, beautifully structured, RRV Pinot. No noticiable tannins and a perfumed nose that goes over to the palate.Shows what Calif can do with the pinot grape. 92/91. 45 by the box.14.5% alc. WW
