looking for info on a wine purchased in 1984 the following is on the label, and has been stored in a proper wine cellar since purchase
it is a red wine
label is dull yellow or beige
company logo of a viking style ship
in black print Chateau Beychevelle
Grand vin 1978
Saint Julien
Appellation Saint Julien Controlee
S.E.D. Achille Fould Proprietaire a Saint Julien Beychevelle
75cl
Product of France
Gironde
in red print is Mis En Bouteille Au Chateau
I know where it was made and all the logistic of being bottle at the Chateau, but given the year and the changes in rules and regulations since then, I was wondering if anyone had an idea of value
Thanks Poohbear

Welcome to the board, Pooh. Wine-searcher.com says it can be had for about $100 in RI.

Hi PB2 and welcome to the board. Contrary to early reports the 78 vintage turned out to be very spotty. Your bottle needs drinking. WW
