1997 Clos Pegase. Same buddy just "dropped" by and said he and CB had a 99 of this sucker at the Phoenician and wondered iffin' I'd heard of it. Not wanting to pass up an opportunity to transgress on my sabbattical I gave him a 5-second overview of this neat lil property and said I was pinein' to try one of their 97. Glad I did az this booger is close to the top of its' game. Brite ruby and with nice aromatics of cassis, clove, vanilla and red fruits. Nice entry, fairly weighty center and a 3&1/2 lapper finish. A really enjoyable cab without faults. Should hold for another 5-8.

Love to scare the costumes offn' them lil' buggers. Have automatic Jack-In-The-Box that works by a motion detector. Only one kid last year didn't think it was funny. Took his bag of candy and whacked the be-jesus outta' it. Gave him another shot at the candy bowl. ww

my Labrador, Daisy, dresses up for Halloween. She loves the attention and all of the kids look for her and ask me if she will be dressing up for them. They must hold out their bag for her to inspect before they get their candy. I don't let her steal any, but she and the kids all enjoy the process!

Halloween is our anniversary, so we go out to dinner. By the time we get home, most of the little buggers have gone home to bed, and we can enjoy a glass or three of Champagne in peace.

Found this hummer hiding in terror behind a 3 liter jug of Hearty Burgandy. After finding this post and coming off another sabbatical I almost dint open the sucker. Holy Patootie!, am sure glad I did. Lovely medium sparkling ruby, no bricking, and super aromatics. Only thing keeping this juice from outstanding status is the 3&1/2 lapper finish, but shore done' hurt the drinking none. Notice how accuratly I called the evolution? WW
