Thot I'd stop on the way into the board and see what AA was up to. Saw this 07 OVX vineyard Oakville estate cab and went in to take a look??????????? 350 for a 750??????????????. C'mon Alex this guys' gotta' be kidding. New winery, No track record, Bad economy. Please tell me this is a mis-print. WW

Took a while IK but it's been moved from the featured wines section to the partner section. Guess that's AAs' money cow. Some retailor is pushing this sucker at 350 per clatter. The retailors' name is Decanted Wines. At this price they should provide at least 2 Vestal Virgins to do the decanting.WW

There's a town near Binghamton, NY named Vestal. It has a diner named the Vestal Steakhouse; its sign is a big steer. Does that count as a Vestal Virgin or a Vestal Stud?

I'd vote for "Beef". Then it's non-discriminatory. WW

I'm from Binghamton, and occasionally go back to visit the relatives. We used to go to the Vestal Steakhouse every so often because it was a short hop from my uncle's place in Endwell. The place closed down in 2003 and the steer was moved to the Discovery Center. They painted it all white with big pastel flowers, and now they call it Blossom. What a downfall for an almost 20' tall Black Angus steer!

Aw, KC, you can tell that I haven't been there in years.

The Vestal Steakhouse was the first place Anne and I ate lunch while on our way to our first visit to the Finger Lakes in 1982.
