2006 William Cole Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Cuvee Claire

Medium purple, with a classic Napa Valley cab nose of dark fruits, spice and that wonderful perfume that comes from the expert use of French oak. This is a “wow” kind of wine: big and expanding in the mouth, but seamless. Well integrated tannins. Wonderful drinking now after a decant, but I think this will continue improving. For now, 93+ points -- with a pretty big potential upside.
