1985 Livington Moffett Vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

I've never heard of this winery before. Form what I udnerstand it is still in operations today under the livingston moffett label.

The moment I tasted this wine I smiled. It is not that it is a great wine but it is quite an honestly made wine. It was a good year so it benefitted likely from the vintage as it was the second vintage only from this winery. An interesting bottle that still is holding well but would not stand in the same league as the Insignia or the Silver Oak.
