This is a challenging wine. What may come across as an enjoyable nicely crafted wine that has some complexity, some barnyardiness, earthiness, etc, and it is all that, but step back. This is a Montepulciano with the spirit and soul of .... a burgundy...... Thoughtfully, constructed, nicely structured. I love it. Pepe, you are a master crafter.
