Not one mention anywhere! I hope all "youse guys" are treating your sweethearts to something nice! I guess this is my best Valentine's Day ever. My honey and I spent the whole day just being together followed by a nice dinner out. Perfect! Being in love is a wonderful thing.

I cooked for my lady. She cooks everyday, but today, I whipped out a trifecta seafood paella recipe and paired it with a Marques de Murrieta Castillo Ygay Gran Reserva Especial 2000. Deliciouso! Now I onto dessert...

We had plans to go out, but True Love wasn't up to it, so at her request, we ordered a pizza, and popped a Las Rocas Garnacha with it.

CB and I were busy trying to get the cork offn' a bottle of Philiponnat Brut Reserve Rose for our " Breakfast of Champions ". Then I cooked a lovely Omelette with liberal doses of wild smoked Alaska salmon and fresh asparagus. After a brief refreshing nap went to meet my son-in-law for a nice mid-afternoon snack . Killer day. WW

Made my Sweetie some bacon wrapped filet mignon, potatoes au gratin and steamed carrots, with a 99 Viansa Reserve Cab. Then a Montaudon Champagne with Sherri's Berries. Later made some apricot sorbet with amaretto, and served with a 2004 Fiddlehead Sweetie. A good time was had by all.

We had a cowboy action shooting match, so that took up our day. Lots of fun.

I've been taking Dreamweaver at the local college to learn how to build web sites. Our gun club is not exactly flush with cash, so I'm building the site. That's Carole, me and Sassy on the home page.

You're doing pretty well with design, Old Bucksnort. The club looks like fun.

Don't know of anyone who still packs an SA pistol.... everybody favors DA these days. Even my little 19th century Colts are both double action, in .32 and .41 cal.

Not talking about a mag. It's a .44 S&W Special with 6" barrel.

That's still a big hunk o' iron. I favor a Beretta .25 or .380, usually the former... it doesn't wobble around at all.

Yep, for concealed carry I pack a Ruger LCP .380 -- very slim profile. I keep a Glock .40 in each vehicle.

Wow has this thread taken a left turn!
Smith & Wesson M&P compact .40 is my daily carry with a Glock 17 close by. Bucko, the Ruger LCP has some issues right now that Ruger is addressing. I like the gun and it's a notch above the Kel-Tec.

Did the weener miss sumpin'? Thot We wuz talkin bout smoochin, pettin, and carry-n-on. Sounds to me like we've got either a bunch of "Shoot-em-ups, gangsters(excluding herr inspector) or Ex CIAs hanging out on our board. FWIW I don't own or have never seen the need to own a shooting device. WW

Yup -- I had to send both LCPs back to have a correction made. Got a free magazine and Ruger hat with each pistol, plus they paid shipping both ways.

Verne, I hope Charlton Heston's spirit comes and haunts yer arse tonight.
