I've been out chainsawing trees on the place. I've taken down 153 trees so far this summer, and I've barely made a dent. Maple trees pop up like weeds around here. Oh my aching back...

Be sure to paint Grow-no-mo on the stumps.

Quiet here, too.

Buckster, you're laying up good BBQ wood there!

I've got wood running out my ears -- wish I could share.

I've never heard of grow-no-mo. Real stuff, or pullin' my chain?

It may not be exactly spelled the way I did, but it is a real product from Ortho. If NW maples are anything like NE maples where you cut one down you will have three next year unless you use it.

They are exactly that way. This area has been cut many years ago by a previous owner. One old stump is now six maples. I see Ortho makes something called Ortho® Brush-B-Gon that says it kills maple stumps. Thanks.
