Same to allofyous. We killed a McManis Cab at noon with friends; hic! Tonight it will be grilled salmon, boiled potatoes, and peas with Shipyard Summer Ale; hic!

Much more awake now. Didn't go into the shop because the manager decided to close early. So, we've been doing munchies and beer most of the afternoon. I'm about to make some oven fries with garlic and red pepper flakes. Also making burgers with bleu cheese stuffing (gorgonzola) and caramelized onions on top. Going for a Zin soon for the burgers.

Happy 4th to all. We're going to go with a something French for wine tonight, as a way of saying "thanks" for helping us secure our independence.

I went with tacos yesterday and finished off an R. Stuart Big Fire Pinot Noir from Oregon. Didn't get around to making German potato salad so maybe I will make that this Saturday.

Kk... have to mention this just to make some stomachs turn. Not picking on my mil or anything, but her beverage of choice yesterday... and no joke at all... Turning Leaf Pinot Noir, in a LARGE tumbler, over ice, with 7-Up, Malibu Rum and orange slices. 'Scuse me while I gag on the memory............

Sangria- yes. I was even okay with the ice and oranges... But with the 7-up and Malibu Rum?? My stomach is still turning!
