Well, I'm not the best one to give advice. I hope some others will come online (busy day, everyone's preparing for tomorrow)....

We've had many conversations about Thanksgiving wine over the years. To read them, just click on SEARCH above/right, search the WINE/FOOD AFFINITIES forum for the keyword: Turkey or Thanksgiving.

Opinions vary but over the years many have suggested the following:

-- Sparkling Wine or Champagne
-- Whites: Gewurztraminer (dry) or Riesling (Spatlese), Sauvignon Blanc
-- Reds: Beajolais Nouveau, Zinfandel, Barbera, Pinot Noir

Maybe some of our board members can tell us what they are serving tomorrow.....

Jackie

It will be a red Zin for us, from Deerfield Ranch.

We'll be celebrating this American holiday with a true American wine -- a 1999 Norton from a N. Georgia winery called Tiger Mountain.
