Bulgarian Wines

Hi,I'm really new to wines and their regions I would like to know how Bulgarian Wines are rated and r they atleast at par with Chilen or even South African wines.

Hi Clyde and welcome to the Wine Board. I'm sure that there are dozens of wine makers in Bulgaria that know their stuff. They have made small splashes here and there in the American and other world markets. Compared to Chile and South Africa, Bulgaria is in the infant stage on the world stage. The only widely available wines from there now, are supermaket plonk.
