hello all im making homemade wine and as usual i cant ever have enough!can someone tell me if i could make big batches in foodgrade plastic drums? could i age it in bulk? anyone doing this? help!running low in beveragetown thanks.

A big, Italian Friend of mine makes his homemade wines in plastic garbage pails. Tastes Great! I'm sure some wine snobs are gasping at the thought.

Another idea, wineries only keep their barrels for a certain number of years and then they usually sell them to amateur winemakers such as yourself at a pretty good price. Call around, maybe you can drive to the nearest winery (in arkansas? it may be a long drive) and pick one up.
