Hi , just what to know, where can I find the list of "good years" that are generally good for wine,e.g 1996 good for Chardonnay in Napa valley.....thsoe sort of info

Hi Sf, and welcome to the Wine Board. Your can go to: www.winespectator.com and click on vintage charts. The site: www.wineanswerscom is also very good. You can also check the threads on this site that deal with specific wines, to see which vintages cause better or worse T.N.s (tasting notes) on the various wines.
