2005 Santa Cruz Mtn. Grenache

The newest version from these 100-year-old vines from McDowell Valley Vineyards. Brite medium ruby. Definate floral aspects combined with the spicy notes are still subdued. Nice entry, solid center and a 4 lapper finish. Loads of soft tannins lurking that need at least another 3-5 to resolve. Nice berries, both straw and rasp, that paired well with my lunch of terriyaki tuna salad. 90/95. 14+ on wine club. 13.3% alc. WW
