This Cabernet, Merlot and Cab Franc blend from BR Cohn is made from all Sonoma grapes. Nose just developing. Deep ruby. Big entry. Medium center and a solid 3&1/2 lapper finish. Loads of bing cherries, red plums, and a tad of spice. There is considerable tannins that shut this hummer down in the throat. Needs at least another 3-6 to come together. Nice juice. 88/93. 12.99 on the sale. 14.5% alc. WW

Not sure which one this is out of the three they made. I do believe all three were the same blend but not totally sure. Last time tasted was last year around this time. The wine was closed down for business. I'm glad to see this coming out of it's shell.

Nice price........

I love some of the Doobie Brothers albums. Especially like "Old Black Water, Keep On Rollin'..." I hear it quite often now because an FM station out of Raleigh plays it as part of their repeated mix. I remember one art history tour in Europe by bus where the tour leader kept playing cassettes of pan flute, etc. driving us nuts eventually, and then came out with the Doobie Brothers cassette. I persuaded him to repeat that cassette and most of the bus was singing along on some of the songs.
