Another beautiful effort. Very dark ruby/purple/black in the glass. Very assertive nose of pure blackberry liquor. A California fruit bomb of blackberry, blueberry, vanilla and white chocolate. Pure drinking delight. Very concentrated and worth every penny of $10. The only negative was that it showed a very slight spritz on the tongue. Not off putting though, as it was so slight...Eileen picked it up also. 13.5%Alc/vol.

Let me know if you get a little spritz from the syrah.

Popped a second bottle last night after a 13 hour work day. Drove to Wheaton, Maryland (DC area)to fire an employee for theft, not pleasant and 32 days away from his vestment, retirement date. Battled I-495, DC beltway, and I-95 back north during evening rush hour. That DC area is a zoo during rush hours...couldn't do that every day. Anywhoos, the McManis was delish with no spritz.

Although we can buy all sorts of neat stuff locally, have not seen any of the McManis wines anywhere. I guess the distribution still isn't universal.
