2003 Domaine de la Maurelle Gigondas

60% Grenache, 30% Syrah and 10% Mourvedre.
I think this may have been a stunning wine if I hadn't OPENED IT TOO SOON!!! Very tight with fine grained tannins shrouding the fruit. What I could taste was deep raspberry and blackberry flavors. Some mushroomy, earthiness. No cooked or stewed flavors. Nice glycerin mouthfeel. Have to buy another few and sit on em'. 14%Alc/vol. $20
