2005 Le Coeurs de Mistral Gigondas (Domaine la Haute Marone)

I was walking around Store 10 (downtown Toronto near the waterfront). Tasted an '06 Roty Gevery Chambertin VV, 06 Beaucastel and an 06 La Clos Jordanne (which is a PN with a cult following in Ontario).

The 06 Roty is tight but very elegant, the 06 Beaucastel is a bit of a hummer, super tight but much going on. The 06 La Clos Jordanne did well in this group, perhaps a bit light, slighly acqward right now and just a tight sweet.

The Gigondas was open but rough, ripe but short, over oaked, and finishes hot. Not sure I'm enjoying this one much right now.
