Just a quick note;

Nose has a blend of red and black fruits with that lovely pork fat aroma. The palate shows the same.... exactly the same. Extreme concentrated fruit; Solid acidity. The finish is lacking in that it drops off fairly quickly. Not my favorite Cote Rotie, but it gave me pleasure all the same.

IK, you may be right. I hadn't thought of that. I'm tasting a couple more Rhones tonight. They've gotten much more air time, so we'll see.
