On opening and the first initial sip, you think,..wow, this thing is tightly wound, what a great balance and.... where is the decanter?

This wine has tremendous focus, like a German Riesling or a very focused cab and the balance helps to pull this wine together. It needed significant time to open but it's worth the effort.

Very good wine indeed!
