Holy cow! We're pretty close to being in the Weener SW camp, but we do like the occasional white. Popped this one last night while cooking dinner (Garlic Rissoto w/ Garlic/Tomato Sauce). Got it from the shop because of a great employee discount and a recco. This sucker has it in spades. Huge nose of citrus - lime and lemon? Then the taste had the same along with what seemed like sweet tangerine and a hint of cat pee. Wow!! I really like this one! Looks like at least a case is going to be brought in for summer sipping. BTW, had a Viansa Barbera with the rissoto.

$15.99 retail in our shop - your mileage may differ.

i could have sworn i had posted on this wine before, but apparently not. i've absolutely loved the '02 and the '03, and i drink reds about 99 percent of the time. but this wine delivers fantastic fruit and isn't weighed down by oak like so many california whites. and this is a steal at the $12.99 per i pay for it.

I saw a review of the 2004 St. Supery Sauvignon Blanc that sounded a lot like the 2003 from IK's descriptors. Will have to watch for it at the grocery store.

Oops! Make that KC's descriptors, not IK's.

I see that it is at some nearby NH Liquor Stores for $13.99. Will pick some up. Has anybody seen any of the Simonsig SB around? It was one of our favs, and can't find it at reliable sources.

Wine Library, Springfield, NJ seems to carry both 2004 and 2005. I don't know if they can ship to you or what local sources could order it for you.
