I was looking through a magazine and seen a bottle of wine, but no one seems to know where to find it or if exist. The wine is called "Gertie & Max." It's a white wine (not sure which one) maybe a Sauv. Blanc or a Fume, maybe even a Pinot Grissio.
The front of the bottle has two mice sitting on a thin branch, above them are rose leaves and a single pink rose in the upper right hand corner of the label. The words Gertie & Max are in the lower left hand corner of the lable. If anyone knows of this wine (if it exist), please leave a response. Thank You everyone for your help and time.

I think I've seen this, and at a shop that I trust. Don't remember anything about it other than the cutsie label, though. Will check next time I'm there.

Gertie and Max is produced from the Chasellas (sp) grape; it is a German wine. It is fruity and a touch sweet. We had it at is-wine a little while back--don't know if it is available in NY right now.

When in Is-Wine awhile back Mother picked out a bottle for the label alone. We actually loved it when we got around to popping. There is a TN somewhere down under the German thread. Look for it under the name Gertie & Max.

Thank you everyone for your information.
I live in Ohio and have a few distributors I can ask, but most of them that I have asked dont seem to know of it. I will give this info. to them and see if one of them can find me a bottle.

Innkeeper, is this wine a regular seller in your area? How much is it per bottle? Thank You!

Not in this area. Got mine from Is-Wine. It is imported by Wines For Food Ltd, New York, NY (www.wineavenger.com).
