Most late harvest Rieslings will cost a lot more than the Vouvray, and most late harvets I have had come with a fair level of concentrated sugar as well as acidity.

I am surprised at the price of the Vouvray. Next time, look for Chenin Blanc from South Africa or California.

I have to tell you, however, that sweet wine with low acidity is rather bland stuff--might as well drink juice.
