Hello..I'm new and have a Q about French wines!!!

I went to Bridelwood to check out the new winery there. It's a new place almost 3 years old. I tasted a French wine and loved it so much.
Since you people are experts, would someone please tell me what were the most popular French wines in the 1920? And is there any links from where I could learn more about the 1920s' French wine?
