I agree with both of the above postings. In the privacy of your own home and in small amounts (practice moderation!) I don't see a big problem with you drinking wine. But that is just my personal opinion. Here in France, young people of your age are often allowed to taste their parents' wine. It's probably like that in some other European countries.

In public, that's a different story. Be very careful about drinking in public, as the consequences may outweigh the meager potential rewards.
