Hi MLance, and welcome to the Wine Board. You might try some Old World stuff. Right now Beaujolais Nouveau 2002 is on the shelves. You might try that and some others in the Beaujolais family. Also Cote Du Rhone, and other Rhones. From Italy look for Barbera, Dolcetto, Chianti, and Salice Salentino. One New World recommendation is Austratlian Shiraz. That should give you something to chew on. Everything listed is available in quality for under $15.
