No nothing about good wines, HELP!

Hello, I am turning over a new leaf and am swearing off of "beer" due to the effects on my "beer belly". Determined to get this off, I have decided a nice glass of wine with my evening meals will do just fine, and maybe a little more when letting my hair down. The only wine I have ever tried that was truly wonderful was given to me by a friend from Australia, Brown Brothers 1995 Sparkling Shiraz King Valley, Cellar Door Release. I absolutely loved it! Could ANYONE please recommend something in the States that might be comparible in taste? My "belly" and I would appreciate it.
