1997 Vega Sicilia Valbuena

Was out in Phoenix last weekend and struck up a conversation with the Sommelier at a Spanish Tapas Restaurant. He told me that one of the local Costco locations had 2 cases of the 1997 Vega Siclia Valbuena for $60/btl. Yep, $60/btl. The best price on the internet that I could find was $97 plus shipping, and that is a great price since $120/btl is more representative.

Problem was transportation. I guessed (correctly) that I could manage 6, wrapped properly and stowed in our checked luggage.

All arrived safely, so now its just a matter of settling and then.......
