I.G.T. bottled by Tenuta dell' Ornellaia
12.5% alcohol
Medium-straw to pale gold color. Bubbles on side of glass when first poured.
Nose: lemony citrus tones; some grassiness
Flavors: lemon, grapefruit, with a flinty component
Acidity causes puckering; better with food than on its own.
I had this with fried chicken and a vegetable egg roll. It may be a year or two past its prime but is still drinkable.
