- wondersofwine - 01-02-2004 I.G.T. bottled by Tenuta dell' Ornellaia 12.5% alcohol Medium-straw to pale gold color. Bubbles on side of glass when first poured. Nose: lemony citrus tones; some grassiness Flavors: lemon, grapefruit, with a flinty component Acidity causes puckering; better with food than on its own. I had this with fried chicken and a vegetable egg roll. It may be a year or two past its prime but is still drinkable. [This message has been edited by wondersofwine (edited 01-02-2004).] |
