This nebbiolo wants to be a barolo,... & years on and this thing is still a tannic monster. Must have been totally unapproachable on release. Dark dried fruits with a purfumey wood, tart high tone acidity, hint of saltiness, but the tannic and alcoholic finish is a bit abrupt. Feels like this could have gone on for a few more years before I killed it. I'll go back to this tomorrow.
