2003 Loring Ranch Ontiverios

Deep ruby. Nose was shy at first but eventually(30-40 min) started showing red and purple fruits, sweet spices and some earth. This is my 2nd bottle of this vineyard. The first was extremely basckward so I didn't post on it. The extra year in the bottle has definately improved this bottling. Solid entry, weighty center and a 4 lapper finish. Complemented wild Alaskan Coho salmon marinated for 3 hours in a combo of herbs, garlic and resh lemon juice. Has the stuffing to take on lots of spicy foods. 89/88. 44 14.4% alc.
