Hi billarno and welcome to the board. Meyney is one of the top vineyards in St. Estephe. Their wines are dominately Cabernet Sauvignon(70%) with Merlot(25%), and small amounts of Petite Verdot and Cab Franc making up the balance. 97 was a good, not great vintage in the region. The bottle, if properly stored, should peak in another 2-3 years. If you don't have adequate storage would suggest oppening sooner. WW
