Both were Alexander Valley bottlings and as a duet they wouild have wowed them at the Met. Red and bl;ack fruits are hallmarks of the fruit from this outstanding area. Supple, soft, beautifully balanced. Both still have some soft tannins but are getting on. The Sebastiani was slighly deeper and more earthy while the Simis' brite fruits hit high C.
