Actually our slimballs don't commit much crime in the snow....can't run fast and they leave tracks . Baltimore looks like a war zone. Cars blocking unplowed secondary streets, even the main roads aren't properly cleared. This city is in such financial trouble due to people fleeing the city that they shortcut on all the services. Now up here in Harford County where I live, the locals have done a great job clearing the roads and KUDOS to our new State Gov. Bob Ehrlich as he really put on a show. I've never seen such great attention to quickly clearing the major state roads and interstate 95.

That oughta send another boxcar-load of brown slush.... to the PNW.

50F and heavy rain here, and all this moisture is headed NE. Look out, Atlantic Coast.

Bring it on! I'd be happy to have another excuse to curl up by the fire with my girl and a good bottle of wine

Hotwine, you could be right! I'll have to divert the shipment. We're hoping for only minimal flooding with the rain this weekend.

Just as a matter of interest, I'd like to report that my basement is flooded, the roof on the mudroom is leaking like a sieve, and the road in front of my house is closed because it is impassable. Maybe I liked the snow better....

Good grief! Y'all be careful, now. There are too many collapsed roofs and flooded basements already.

may have to get out my scuba gear a little early in the season. The rain did help wash the salt off my truck, though.

Jenninsr, welcome to the Wine Board. Unfortunately there is no way I know of to move your post/question to a more appropriate place on the forum. Bellezza Sangiovese is a Super Tuscan that retails for $30. The only place in this country I've been able to find it is on one wine club (http://gourmetclub.signonsandiego.com/winesitaliansampler.htm) and one restaurant wine list (for $100). I get the feeling that it is not widely distributed.
