Always interesting and a good value this is the best IMHO since the 97. Deep ruby color, nice nose of spices, black fruits, and a tad of forrest floor. Strong center, medium mid-palate, and a 3&1/2 lapper finish.Handeled mashed cauliflower with garlic, butter, and Cougar Gold with no problem. Tasty stuff. 89/90. 21 by the box.13.5% alc. WW

Agree on the wine - wonderful stuff. Mashed cauliflower, though! Sounds like old folks food!

The Cauliflower was good enought that CB asked me to make her favorite veggie tonight. That's mashed TURNIPS with boiled onions mashed jes' like potatoes. WW

Love Bonny Doon. Had the '99 of this a few weeks ago that I posted on. I'd like them a lot more at the price you get them for -- here in Atlanta it runs closer to $30, and I can get better bang-for-the-buck with CdP.

Love mashed turnups. We also add onions, with leeks and garlic, too. Good non-starch sub for mashed taters for low carbers, which Anne is from time-to-time.
