So far this is the winner in the bargain bin for " Drop-Bys, Neighbors, and Friends of my Kids " Sweepstakes. Lovely balance in this medium ruby well-crafted bottling. The requisite berries, spices and tannins are all well represented. Jeff McBride, Dave Stares' new winemaker, has made a wine that will hold its own against much more expensive bottling. 89/91. 13.50 by the box. 13.5% alc. WW
