Very nice elegant zinfandel. Full bodied. Black regal purple in the glass with rich flavors of black cherry, bramble and earth, clove and spice. The only negative was that the wine seemed a tad flabby...bottle variation? I have a few more and will pop later to compare. 85% Zin and 15% Petite Sirah. 14.5%Alc/vol. $18

Winemaker Comments: Planted in 1890, Beeson Ranch vineyard sits on the western slopes of the Dry Creek Valley. Our first single-vineyard bottling from this historic dry-farmed vineyard has incredible aromas of black cherry, cassis, ripe plum, cinnamon and clove. Cherry, blackberry, ripe strawberry and earth linger on the finish with rustic tannins and dark roast coffee flavors. After experiencing the lush concentrated quality of Perry Beeson’s Zinfandel for over 20 years, our venture into vineyard-designate wines had to include this property. Enjoy!

Found this hiding at the beach and popped last night. Just a tad of tannins left, smooth and round in the mouth. This zin has no where to go but down and is drinking nicely. Same flavor profile but more concentrated and the roast coffee note was more mocha like. Very nice. This bottle had a little better structure than above.

Dry Creek was one of the 1st Dry Creek Zins I drank. David, the lil' sailor, makes solid juice. Have never had his single-vineyard stuff. Will look for the booger. WW
