Forgot to post on this when I opened the 1st bottle. Medium deep ruby. Nose of red and black fruits. On 1st sip and impression of sweetness because, I think, of the intensity of fruit. After an hour the terrior came thru and plummy, strawberry notes hit the palate. As usual the weighty center and a 4-lapper finish. Neat stuff. 91/9045 on futures.14.1% alc. WW

Haad another for lunch today. Seems fleshier and the nose is becoming more dominant. Not quite enough to change scoring. WW

I've found the Loring's are good for 3 years - 4 or 5 if you have really good storage as you do, ww. Love those wines. Too bad Bucko hasn't found them to his liking.

Opened another for lunch today. Evolving swimmingly. Nose showing more varietal intensity along with some overlays of earthy notes. Mouthfeel is also ratched up a notch. IMHO it still has a way to go to get on top of its' game. Maybe another year. Still a kick-patootie drink. WW

Had this for lunch yesterday. Regressed back to double intake as I was feeling frisky. This is a killer bottling. Not much new to say except I'm getting low on these 02s. WW

Said goodbye yesterday to this last bottle of this super juice. The nose has become more dominate and at firsy gave just a hint of good funk. Blew off in about 5 and drank swimmingly till the very end. Lovely stuff. No need to change the scoring as it be all gone. WW

I'm sure you'll find one several years from now hiding in the back of the cellar.....
